How dose it feel to read about things that might never happen in real history? "Dragon Wings", an authentic novel by Laurence Yep, has enriching details and sudden surprising moments that add spice to the story board. No one can take their eyes off of the book as they are adhered!
"Dragon Wings" is about a boy," Moon Shadow" , who has a dream of making a flying machine. He goes to San Fransisco with his dad, Wind Rider where they encounter a destructive earthquake. They also learn how to read and write. With those skills, Moon Shadow writes a letter to the Wright Brothers who help make a plane! The audience of this book would be some where from 12-14.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes a twist on the old days. It's details drag you into the book itself! It's really quite interesting.
I just finished this book about a week and a half ago! How did you like it?
